Ries A100-2 Large Format and Ultra Large Format Wooden Tripod
The A100-2 Wooden Large Format Tripod with a crown size of 6 inches/15.24 cm is for Large Format, Ultra Large Format, long lens digital cameras with digital backs, professional video cameras, and 8 x 10 and larger format up to 48 x 60 format cameras up to 165 pounds/75 kg. Ries A Series Wooden Tripods feature the Tri-Lock mechanism making them the most stable tripod in the industry. They are made standard from Eastern Hard Rock Maple or custom made from one of our Special wood selections. Special Wood selection is considered a custom which can take an additional 2-3 weeks for delivery.
Our tripods are specifically made from “tone woods” or AKA; “tonewoods”, (look it up).

If you Are into Ultra Large Format the you need an Ultimate Tripod and Tripod Head. We suggest the A250-2 Double Tilt Tripod Head or the A200-2 Single Tilt Tripod Head
