Description
Deardorff Style Replacement Camera Base Plate for most Large Format Cameras. Better than the Deardorff original. The new Replacement Camera Base Plate’s design is thicker and engineered not to flex like the original Base Plates do.
This is not made from cast aluminum as were the original stock base-plates. This is made with 6061-T6 Aluminum and milled to specifications. Also, there is a threaded stainless steel insert to prevent cross-threading when mounting your camera to the tripod.
Thread size available is 1/4″-20 or 3/8″-16.
Base Plate is 6 Inches in diameter and 3/8″ thick. The insert post is 3/8″ tall and 7/8″ in diameter.
If you require another dimension or want a custom base plate please call. Attaches to the bottom of you camera with #4, 5/8″ long Stainless Steel Countersink wood screws, which are included. This plate works best with the Ries A100 Wooden Tripod the Ries A250 Head and the Ries A250-2 Head
